:: About UsPRESENTATION OF ASSOCIATIONWe have the honour to present to you the International Assistance for Community Development (INACOD) Cameroon. INACOD is a non-governmental organisation, non-profit making, non-denominational and apolitical institution. INACOD is recognized under law N0 90/053of19/12/90 governing non-profit creating civil society organisation and political parties in Cameroon. After years of feasibility studies, the organisation was registered in 2006 with administration regulatory authorities MINADT. INACOD is a non-governmental organisation seeking to establish its presence in different parts of the world bringing information on opportunities in sustainable development on programmes and educational values from other regions of the world for intercultural exchange. INACOD aims at promoting and enhancing learning, environmental protection, education and socio-economic development for mutual interest .Her prime objective is to establish networks with associate partners in different partner countries in the world. This is done in a bid to enhance international coorperation and globalisation. Cameroon, that is dependent on agriculture solely, continue to be a moderate-income earner with 80% of the population living on it. Poverty is rife with the majority of the masses on less than one dollar per day. INACOD’s bottom-up approach to community development issues open up to sustainable project realisation. The communities initiate, execute and reaps the benefits while INACOD guides and shapes the ideals. INACOD finally monitors the project for sustainability. INACOD is a concerted effort of some concerned, devoted, knowledge based individuals and youths in Cameroon with a focus in development and the voluntary sector. These persons come together monthly to monitor her activities. She has Buea as head quarters, Bamenda, Kumba, Yaounde host the provincial branches while she seeks to establish representation in communities spread all over the country. Her board is headed by a chairman and her daily activities are handled by the Director aided by staff and secretariat. The director reports to the general assembly as enshrined in the articles of association. OUR MISSIONTo package opportunities for people in order to maximise results in domains such as students seeking educational placement, employment, sports, population affairs noting that knowledge is power. OUR MISSION STATEMENTWe will sort the best opportunities for the best people. The most intelligent students for the best professional universities, the businessmen their worth in international ventures, employment gained for the qualified unemployed while improving conditions of the employed. We will be environmental friendly to our communities while assisting Cameroonians to reap the fruits of globalisation. We urge you to make your village a city rather than move unto it for luxury.
